Calypso has found a warm spot to shake off the chilly weather we are having. She curls up on her bed right in front of the fireplace and just soaks up the warmth. A sure sign winter is on the way. We turned our heat on before the 1st of October. We always try to turn it off at the end of May and not turn it on till October 1st. This year the last week of September brought a storm in that rivaled something we would get in December. Cold, 4 inches of rain and gusty winds. Way too cold to not run some heat. Now one of the true sounds of fall is waking up in the morning to the furnace coming to life and warming the house up.
