On the sand .....
When we go to the beach we like to take the truck out on the sand. Usually its just a nice drive around the dunes and a few up and downs. Last year when we went out at Pacific City to go down the beach and look at the seals, we got a little too close to the edge of the Nestucca Bay and got stuck. With the tide coming in we needed to get the truck out fast. Couldn't raise a tow truck on a Saturday afternoon so I proceeded to start digging to clear the sand and get us unstuck. Fortunately a boat with four fishermen was going by and they stopped and helped. With a little more digging and putting some driftwood under the wheels and lots of pushing, we got it out before we got too wet. Thanks be to some Good Samaritans.

A special place in Neskowin.
One of our favorite places in the world. I've been coming to the cabin in Neskowin for all of my life. We usually spend a week or so here in the summer and a few weekends the rest of the year. Memories I have as a kid here are priceless and memories made with my kids there are some of their fondest childhood memories. We owe this special place to my parents who bought it so many years ago and have made it available to their children and grandchildren and now the great-grandchildren. My parents have both passed on and my siblings and I are planning for the future so many more generations of Hutchinson's can enjoy it.
