Went to the Oregon State- Hawaii game on Saturday. Beavers won but still have some work to do this season. Brought back memories of going as a kid and then again in college. Back when I was a kid the Beavers had a pretty good football team. They went to the 1965 Rose Bowl and in 1967 defeated USC and OJ Simpson for their only loss. My Dad had season tickets back then and we would get to go if he couldn't. Students at OSU could go to the football games for free so when I was a student there we went frequently. These were not good years for the Beaver football team. Through the 70's 80's and 90's, the Beavers racked up 29 losing seasons. We went with Kirk and Suzanne yesterday. Kirk, my brother, has had season tickets for 35 years, ever since we got out of school. He is a huge Beaver fan for all their sports. It was a great afternoon!!
